It has been educating children, schools and the general community about conservation and the environment for over 90 years. The center Manager is responsible for promoting the Gould League, developing and coordinating the environmental education programs and for raising awareness of the State's flora, fauna and wildlife conservation. After graduating as a zoologist, Mandy worked as the project officer for Herdsman Lake Wildlife center in the year that it was built. Research shows that people are healthier in bio diverse cities. Now we enjoy the opportunity to share our enthusiasm for nature with visitors to Herdsman Lake and anyone else who’s interested!
